King William’s Town: Willowvale police arrested a 23-year-old man for alleged murder of his father, aged 48. The suspect was arrested on Monday, 03 December 2018 at about 20:00, at Mandluntsha Locality, Mboya Village, Willowvale.

It is alleged that the suspect had a quarrel with his father on Sunday, 02 December 2018 at about 17:30. The father was allegedly stabbed on his upper body. He ran to the nearby bushes. The crime was never reported to the Willowvale Police.

The members of the community decided to look for the missing father. He was found already passed away in the bushes. The case was then reported to the Willowvale Police on Monday, 03 December 2018 during the evening. Willowvale Police acted swiftly as they traced and arrested the suspect.

The motive for the murder is not clear at this point in time. The suspect will appear before the Willowvale Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 05 December 2018 on a murder charge. The deceased was identified as Loyiso Makhuleni aged 48.
