SAPS NEWS: Police Searching for 2 Armed Robbers after House Robbery in Uitenhage today

Detectives from the Operational Command Centre in Uitenhage are hot on the heels of two armed suspects who allegedly robbed an elderly woman and her son during a house robbery today, 19 September 2018, at about 12:00 in Uitenhage.

It is alleged that two unknown males approached the 52-year-old complainant, who stopped at his mother's residence in Molteno Street, Uitenhage. The suspects, who were armed with a firearm and knife, threatened the complainant and they pushed the complainant inside the house. The suspects then searched the premises and took jewellery, cash and fled the scene in the complainant's vehicle, a beige VW Tiguan. Detectives are investigating a case of house robbery and they are following up on all possible leads.
