39-year old former rugby player Zane Killian has appeared in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court in connection with a failed attempt to kill prominent lawyer William Booth.
Killian is facing charges of conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder and the unlawful interception of communication.
The shooting took place at Booth's
home in April this year.
He escaped unharmed.
The case has been postponed to the 10th of November for possible bail application.
Killian is also accused of the murder of top anti-gang unit member Charl Kinnear outside his Bishop Lavis home in Cape Town last month.
That case was heard in the Bellville Regional Court yesterday and postponed to the 27th of November, also for possible bail application.
