Manhunt launched after police colonel was gunned down in front of his house #CrimeStop #policekillings LIMPOPO - The Police in Denilton have launched a manhunt after the Station Commander of Groblersdal Colonel Lebyane Jeffrey Seroka aged 57, was shot and killed by unknown assailant(s) in front of his house
at Mmaganagobuswa village at about 04h30 this morning, Saturday 2020-10-17.
The suspect(s) thereafter took the member's motor vehicle, a white Toyota Hilux and fled from the scene.
The vehicle was later found abandoned along the Denilton-Maklerekeng road.
Preliminary police investigations indicated that the deceased woke up early in the morning and prepared to go to a funeral.
At about 04h30 he went out of the house and as he was about to leave, he was then shot dead in front of his gate.
The motive for this killing is unknown at this but police investigations are continuing.
A team of investigators has already been assembled to hunt down the killer(s).
