Minor appears in court for alleged murder of a four-year old girl NORTH WEST - A 16-year-old minor was today remanded in custody when he appeared in the Bloemhof Magistrates' Court on a charge of murder.

An enquiry was opened on Sunday afternoon, 20 September 2020, after a four-year-old girl was reported missing.
According to information available at this stage, reports suggest that the little girl was last seen in the company of a man in the evening along the N12 road near Boitumelong Location.
That was after she went missing while playing with other children outside the yard at her parental home.
The minor who is being processed in terms of the Child Justice Act, 2008 (Act No.
75 of 2008), was subsequently apprehended on Monday, 21 September 2020.
