President Cyril Ramaphosa has announced that South Africa will move to level one of the coronavirus lockdown from midnight on Monday the 20th of September.
This effectively means that level one will take effect from early Tuesday morning the 21st of September.

Most medical experts say the country has space to move to a lower level of lockdown as the rate of coronavirus infections slow.
The number of people who have b een infected as well as the number of those who have died is substantially lower than the worst predictions at the start of the pandemic.
Ramphosa level one means that restrictions on social gatherings has been eased.
Ramaphosa says there will also be a gradual easting on restrictions on international travel from the 1st of October.
However the President says travel may be restricted to and from certain high risk countries.
Ramaphosa also says the curfew will be eased.
