The City of Cape Town says the majority of inner city, Hout Bay and Hangberg Myciti busroutes will not be operational today due to COVID-19 mitigation measures.
The bus depot has been closed, following a positive test result for the coronavirus.
The vehicle operating company operating these routes is collaborating with
the Western Cape Department of Health in terms of contact tracing, and the affected personnel have been booked off and are required to self-quarantine as per
the applicable guidelines.
All of the buses, and the premises and facilities, will be sanitised and decontaminated in accordance with the requisite health and safety protocols.
As such, commuters are advised that the following routes will not be operational tomorrow: • 101 Vredehoek to Civic (clockwise) • 104 Oranjezicht to Sea Point • 105 Sea Point via Fresnaye to Civic •
