A seventy three year old man has been left with moderate injuries following a collision in the Sunningdale area this morning.
At approximately 08:20 Crisis Medical paramedics responded to a call for a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Sugarfarm Trail and
Top of The Hill Roads in Sunningdale, north of Durban.
On arrival it was noted that a light motor vehicle and a utility vehicle had collided leaving two men aged seventy three and thirty five years of age, injured.
The seventy three year old man sustained moderate injuries and was stabilized using intermediate life support intervention before he was placed onto a specialised stretcher and taken by ambulance to hospital for further care.
The second patient suffered minor injuries and was also taken to hospital for further assessment.
The cause of the collision is unknown and will form the subject of a South African Police Services investigation.
