Two people have been injured after a bus was stoned on the N2 near Lwandle in Strand by protesting community members last night.

In another incident, an ambulance with patients that was travelling towards the N2 was pelted with stones in


Hlathi Drive, Asanda Village.

The ambulance was damaged on the one side.

The police at Lwandle has appealed to the public for assistance following the incidents of malicious damage to property.

The police has urged anyone with information about the incident contact the investigating officer, Detective Siphiwo Ntetha on following numbers: 082 522 1208 or 021 845 2060 or alternatively, Crime Stop on 086 00 10111.
