Alert and fed up members of public in Isipingo Hills nabbed a theft suspect and meted out mob justice after he was caught on the act on Saunders Avenue, earlier today.
Hills where it was reported the suspect was spotted in a property on Saunders Avenue and was in the process of stealing metal for scrap.
The suspect attempted to flee and was pursued by members of the community and apprehended. He was dealt with by them.
Alpha Alarms was contacted by a client who activated her panic alarm. Alpha members arrived on scene to find the suspect mobbed by the community. Isipingo SAPS responded to the scene and the assaulted suspect was transported to hospital via ambulance.
There have been other incidents of mob justice reported in the Isipingo Hills community, recently.
