The Western Cape Minister of Transport and Public Works, Bonginkosi Madikizela, has condemned the killing of Blackheath-Malibu Taxi Association chairperson, Patrick Cosani. He was gunned down yesterday outside his home by unknown gunmen. No one else was injured in the
shooting. Madikizela has passed his condolences to his family and colleagues. Madikizela has called on members of the public who have information that may assist in the investigation to contact the police: "As a minister of transport and public works I really want to send out my sincere condolences to his family, his friends and to his colleagues, particularly in the taxi industry. We want to make sure that we work with the law enforcement agencies to apprehend the
perpetrators because we cannot continue like this."
