A 15-year-old boy is being kept under police guard at a Cape Town hospital following a fatal stabbing incident at the Grand Parade in the CBD yesterday. A 17-year-old youth was stabbed to death after an apparent altercation with the
15-year-old who sustained facial injuries. Police spokesperson, Andre Traut, says once the youth is discharged from hospital he will be arrested and charged with murder. Traut says they arrested four more youths on several charges. He says they are all learners from a school in Woodstock. "A 17-year-old male was stabbed to death during an apparent fight with a 15-year-old male who was transported to hospital with injuries sustained during the altercation. He is being treated under police guard
and will be detained as a suspect on a murder charge once he has been discharged from hospital. Both males are from Khayelitsha and are learners from a school in Woodstock. Several youths were questioned and searched. This resulted in the arrest of four suspects, three for the possession of dangerous weapons and one for the possession of dagga."
