The search is continuing for two fishermen who went missing at sea in False Bay earlier this week. The men were reported missing on Tuesday. They were part of a group of five whose two inflatable boats ran into difficulty.

Three of them were found when one of the boats washed ashore at Sandbaai on Wednesday afternoon. One was declared deceased, while the other two were taken to hospital. National Sea Rescue Institute Spokesperson, Craig Lambinon, says the other boat was found yesterday afternoon between Gansbaai and Pearly Beach." Police and NSRI Hermanus responded to the scene where the boat that was found badly damaged washed up on shore. The search of the area has revealed no sign of

the two missing men. Our thoughts are with the families of the two missing men in this difficult time." (NSRI image of the first boat that washed up on Wednesday afternoon near Sandbaai)
