The NSRI at Witsand has rescued the crew of a 6 metre cabin boat that ran aground in low tide in the Breede River near Kraaltjie. NSRI spokesperson, Craig Lambinon, says the cruiser ran aground on a sand bank on
the Infanta side of the river during low tide. Three men on board were fishing when the incident happened. Lambinon says the rescue craft, Breede Rescuer, was launched and two rescue swimmers secured a tow line to the stranded vessel. The vessel was towed into the harbour where is was moored.
