The death toll on Western Cape roads for the past weekend has risen to 34. Provincial Traffic authorities say this includes four people who died on Friday afternoon when two vehicles crashed near Gansbaai. Early on Sunday morning, three passengers


died when a Greyhound bus crashed into a stationary truck on the N1 between Touwsrivier and Laingsburg. The driver was seriously injured and 51 passengers sustained light injuries. sAlso among the 34 fatalities this weekend, were 13 pedestrians and a cyclist.
