It has been a black weekend on Western Cape roads. A total of 26 fatalities were reported.
Provincial Traffic authorities say this includes four people who died on Friday afternoon when two vehicles crashed near Gansbaai.
Sunday morning, three passengers died when a Greyhound bus crashed into a stationary truck on the N1 between Touwsrivier and Laingsburg.
The driver was seriously injured and 51 passengers sustained light injuries. And late last night, two trucks collided on the N1 outside Worcester. No fatalities or serious injuries occurred in this crash.
Also among the 26 fatalities this weekend, were ten pedestrians and a cyclist.
