Beware of fake SAPS trainee vacancy adverts online.
The South African Police Service (SAPS) wishes to alert interested job seekers to the existence of bogus advertisements purporting to be from the SAPS, recruiting interested people to apply for police trainee intake.
A recent FAKE advertisement for police trainees has been brought to
our attention that has been advertised via this link: http://whatsappgroup.co.za/2019/03/18/saps-basic-policing-traineeship-programme-2019-2020/
There are no vacancies for new recruits to join the SAPS at the moment. As soon as an announcement is made in this regard and advertisements have been published on the SAPS website and in print media, we will inform our online communities.
SAPS wishes to state that advertisements for any posts within its structures are, if and when they become available, placed in a range of newspapers in the country to reach as many potential and suitable candidates as possible.
The public should also bear in mind that they can view existing vacancies and obtain the official application forms from the official website: www.saps.gov.za
The public is urged and advised to be
vigilant and not to be misled by any false advertisements or advertising scams.
