PAC President, Narius Moloto, says the newly forged unity will help the party to do well in the upcoming general elections in May. The two PAC factions which have been in existance for many years were forced to come together after the IEC warned that it will not recoginise any
faction and that the party would be deregistered if it does not put its house in order. Moloto says the party hopes to sustain this unity even after the elections. Earlier this month the Pretoria High Court ruled that Moloto should the face of the party as his face was already on the election posters. Moloto told the Press Club in Cape Town the unity of the PAC is a significant achievement: "PAC is in a better position now to basically articulate the asperations, the people of this country did not have the best deal they still very poor , unemployed simply because the PAC was not in the centre stage odf the South African politics what we
offering is the fundamental change to social and economic issues."
