The public is warned not to become a victim of a fake advertisement which is currently on social media. This advert offers vacancies in JMPD that does not exist.
JMPD officers who were on duty outside the Court in Pritchard yesterday,
when they received a complaint from three youths who sad they had each paid R300 to three individuals for JMPD jobs but did not get receipts, this caused them to complain to the JMPD officers.
The officers then went to the suspects office also in Pritched Street and caught them red handed as they were about take R300 from another victim .
The suspects were in possession of a fake SARS document and a fake company registration certificate. The two females
and one male were immediately arrested and charged at Johannesburg Central Police Station for theft under false pretenses.
