A high speed chase in pursuit of a suspect in a stolen vehicle ended with the suspect abandoning the vehicle and fleeing into the bushes.
The silver Toyota Corolla which was stolen from Umbilo was recovered in Umlazi P section by Tracker SA personnel who
tracked and located the vehicle.
A high speed chase ensued during which the suspect abandoned the vehicle and fled into the dense bushes. Alpha Alarms Tracker Unit, SAPS and Metro assisted in the recovery of the vehicle.
All units searched for suspect who disappeared into the thick vegetation.
An inspection of the vehicle revealed that it was stripped.
Well done to all members on the recovery of the vehicle.
