BREAKING NEWS: The number of corrupt traffic officials arrested this festive season is rising, about four licensing officers stationed at Underburg licensing department in Kwa-Zulu Natal have been nabbed on allegations of fraud in the early hours today.
The four, three males and a female are accused to have issued learner licenses irregularly. The suspects are currently detained at
the South African Police Services (SAPS).
They will appear before the magistrate, Monday, 10 December 2018 to face charges relating to fraud and corruption, the four is expected to apply for bail during their first court appearance.
Members of the Road Traffic Management Corporation Anti-Corruption unit together with, the Hawks and Kwa-Zulu Natal traffic and transport unit raided the learner licence centre Himiville to make the arrests.
