Advocacy group, Unite Behind, has launched a new campaign aimed at putting pressure on passenger rail agency, PRASA and Metro Rail to fulfill their mandate of providing a proper public rail service. The Delay-Repay campaign will have commuters using a paid up monthly ticket for two consecutive months as a means of protest. Train services in Cape Town have been severely impacted recently by on-going arson, vandalism and theft of rail infrastructure.
