Nine people have been injured after the boat there were out at Sea on crashed onto the shore near the Ski Boat Club on Durbans beachfront on Saturday evening around 8pm.

Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the boat on the sand. Nine people who had been on the boat when it collided into the shore had sustained various injuries and were stabilised on the scene by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before being

transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required. The skipper was uninjured in the collision. NSRI was in attendance.

At this stage the events leading up to the collision is unknown however SAPS and Metro Police were on the scene and will be investigating further.
