Hijacked Vehicle Recovered: KwaMashu - KZN A black Chev Aveo that was hijacked from Trevenen Road in Lotusville- KZN was recovered in Besters - KZN by Reaction Officers a short while ago (Tuesday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a tip off that a vehicle sought on Verulam case
number 09/08/2022 was spotted in the area.
Reaction Officers converged on the area and recovered the vehicle abandoned at approximately 13:39.
The keys were still in the ignition.
Reaction Officers contacted the owner who confirmed that he was hijacked by two armed suspects outside his residence last night (Monday).
He was not injured.
The vehicle was handed over to the KwaMashu SAPS for further investigation.
