16 Year Old On Suspension Commits Suicide: Hazelmere - KZN A 16 year old year old boy was found hanging in a rondavel next to his house in Hazelmere - KZN this afternoon (Monday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the property at approximately 16:23.
On arrival,
a large crowd consisting of family and members of the community were located on the premises.
RUSA Medics were led into a rondavel where the teenager was declared deceased.
He was allegedly hanging by an electrical cable attached to a rafter and was cut down by a neighbour prior to the arrival of First Responders.
It was established that the boy was suspended from school a week ago after he was found in possession of a knife.
It could not confirmed if the suspension drove him to end his life.
