Victim Stripped Naked During Robbery: Canelands - KZN A 17 year old pedestrian was stripped naked by robbers in Canelands - KZN last night (Saturday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were dispatched to Old Main Road near the Canelands Library at approximately 22:29 after the victim sought
assistance from a Security Officer.
On arrival, the teenager informed Reaction Officers that he was walking to his girlfriend's house when four men in four different vehicles boxed him in.
The men confronted him before one of them produced a firearm and demanded his cellphone & shoes.
They also stole his pants and underwear before they assaulted him.
They robbers drove off in a blue Toyota Avanza, a white Toyota Avanza, a white Toyota Etios and a blue VW Polo.
The registrations of the vehicles are unknown.
The naked teenager fled to a nearby construction company where he sought assistance from a Security Officer who contacted RUSA for assistance.
The Officer also provided the victim with a piece of material which he wrapped around himself.
A criminal
case was not immediately registered by the teenager.
Reaction Officers conducted an extensive search for the suspects however no arrests were made.
