An intelligence driven operation during the early hours of this morning led to the arrest of a 30-year-old suspect in Bothasig who is also sought for various serious and violent crimes in the province.
Members of Operation Restore reacted on information and conducted a search at a residence in Bothasig where
the male suspect and two females aged 21 and 28 were caught in possession of tik and mandrax with a combined value of R90 000-00.
The male suspect is also wanted on a string of crimes ranging from business robbery, murder, attempted murder, assault, and possession of an unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
His identity can only be revealed once he has made a court appearance, which is scheduled for Monday morning in Bellville, together with the two female suspects.
