Woman Stabbed During Robbery: Verulam CBD - KZN A 41 year old woman was stabbed during an attempted robbery on Moss Street outside Capitec Bank in the Verulam CBD - KZN this morning (Sunday).
Witnesses contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) at approximately 08:46 requesting assistance for the female.
On
arrival, it was established that the pedestrian was walking to her place of employment when she was accosted by the robber who attempted to steal her handbag.
A struggle ensued when the suspect stabbed her on her wrist.
He fled empty handed.
The female was treated for her injury on scene before being transported to hospital by ambulance.
