This morning, nine people, including eight children, were injured when the taxi they travelled in rolled through a fence into a business wall off the Claude Wheatley and Koedoe intersection in Tzaneen. ER24 arrived at 07h10 to find the taxi against the business wall.
A man and eight children, believed to
be aged between nine and thirteen, had sustained minor to moderate injuries.
No fatalities were found. The patients were treated and later transported to Mediclinic Tzaneen and Van Velden Hospital for further care. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
