This afternoon Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to Wartburg road for reports of a collision.
When emergency services arrived they found that there had been two collisions.
According to reports from scene a vehicle was driving very erratically, and is suspected that the driver was having a medical emergency.
The vehicle following slowed,
resulting in a truck colliding into the back of the slowing vehicle.
At the same time the first vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with an oncoming vehicle.
Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that 2 occupants had sustained serious injuries and were treated on scene before being transported to hospital for further treatment.
Sadly the driver from the first vehicle had succumbed to their injuries before emergency services arrived.
