Early this morning Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the R34 at Bloodriver crossing for reports of a collision.
When emergency services arrived they found that a bus and car had been involved in a collision.
Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that 1 patient sustained critical injuries and a further
4 patients sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.
The patients were treated on scene before being transported to hospital for further treatment.
At hospital the critically injured patient deteriorated and resuscitation efforts were started.
Sadly the patient succumbed to their injuries despite all efforts from doctors and Paramedics.
