N2 Bridge 18 Mandeni IPSS Medical Rescue responded to a head-on collision on the N2 by Bridge 18 near Mandeni.
Upon arrival of IPSS Medical Rescue Advanced Life Support paramedics it was established that 5 patients had sustained minor injuries and 1 person had
sustained critical injuries.
The critically injured patient was intubated and placed on a ventilator before being transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment All the patients with minor injuries refused to be treated and transported to hospital.
