Two grade 10 learners from Heatherlands High School in George have scooped top place in a national competition held by the Department of Water and Sanitation.
Unam Halam and Faith Claasen won the the South African Youth Water Prize for inventing a device for saving water, drop by drop.
Both will represent
South Africa in Sweden in August, at the Stockholm International Water Institute, where they'll compete with learners from 30 countries.
