Theft suspect arrested At approximately 16:22, Titanium Securitas Control Centre received a call regarding a male suspect that was robbed from his belongings on Oudedam street, Morgenster.
Multiple vehicles made their way to the location to gather as much information as possible about the suspect.
Detailed information was gathered, and
the Armed Response vehicles split up to comb the streets.
While the vehicles combed the streets, the control center monitored the Titanium Securitas Overwatch cameras for the suspect.
Shortly after, the suspect was spotted on the cameras and a coordinated takedown was planned to block the suspect in.
As soon as the suspect spotted our vehicles, he decided to make a run for it.
The Armed Response officers followed on foot after which he was quickly caught.
The suspect was confronted and searched whereby the stolen belongings were found in his possession.
He was detained and handed over to Brackenfell SAPS for further processing.
