Saturday, 21 May 2022 More often then not when following an emergency service on social media, including ourselves, you mostly see the horrific accidents and rescues that take place.
Yes it's about marketing, but it's also about raising awareness of the dangers that we face daily on the roads, in the
workplace and in other areas of our day to day lives.
These often traumatic incidents are chaotic and test our medics skills in difficult situations.
But, this is not only what it's about, despite it being what our followers see, most of our work is done quietly behind the scenes, only seen and appreciated by those who called on us.
It is our responsibility to take care of the sick and vulnerable in our community.
This is what it is actually about, comforting an elderly lady who is afraid to die, keeping it together and having no answers for a family after declaring a loved one, rushing the sick to hospital or transferring those from one hospital to another to get the care
they desperately need.
This is often the work that goes unnoticed, this is the work that keeps our medics busy 24/7.
Pictured we have one of our passionate advanced life support Paramedics, transporting a baby, only hours old in our incubator, to a specialized facility.
It's this care and passion that sets us apart, and this why we are grateful to our dedicated medics.
We appreciate all the work you put in! You are what make IPSS Medical Rescue.
