Cape Town singer-songwriter - Jeremy Loops and British artist - Ed Sheeran have joined forces to release a new single for Loops, "Better Together".
Universal Music South Africa says the two artists met during an after-party when Sheeran performed in the Mother City in 2019.
The singer-songwriter with the ginger tinted hair,
apparently had asked Loops then to collaborate in the near future.
Soon afterwards two of Sheeran's sought-after co-writers, Johnny McDaid and Steve Mac, also joined the writing team of the new track, which is included on Loops' upcoming third album, "Heard You Got Love".
Loops has in recent years become an international star with over 230-million streams globally.
The self-taught guitarist is also leading The Big Food Drive initiative benefiting poor communities in South Africa, and the Greenpop eco- project that has resulted in the planting of 150- thousand trees locally in green-free spaces.
