LENASIA - Two-car collision leave man critically injured....
Last night, a man was left critically injured when two light motor vehicles collided on Sheffield Road in Lenasia South. ER24 arrived at 20h30 to find CERT and other services already in attendance.
One vehicle was found on its roof, while another was parked on the side of the road. On
closer inspection, medics found a man lying trapped inside the overturned vehicle in critical condition. Rescue Services had to use specialised equipment to free the man from the car.
Once released, medics treated the man and provided him with advanced life support before he was airlifted by a private medical helicopter to a nearby hospital for urgent care. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
