Gauteng: At 13H26 Saturday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the N1 approximately ten kilometres passed the Grassmere Toll Plaza.
Reports indicate that thirteen cars and a truck were involved in a collision, allegedly caused by a veld fire lowering visibility.
Medics assessed the scene and found that
ten people had sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.
The patients were treated on scene and, once stabilised, were transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further care.
