A POST OF APPRECIATION AND THANKS!!!! 12 May 2022 @ 17:31pm CMAX received multiple signals from a client's premises.
The elderly couples Geyser burst and a electrical short occurred and started a fire.
The fire department was dispatched and assisted , but the damage was to much for the elderly couple and
daughter to cope with.
Carla from CMAX immediately responded and took action to get help.
First call was to Rudi van Vuuren Spot Clean Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning.
Western Cape.
That immediately assisted with sending a team within 30min to help get water out of the flooded premises.
Second call was sent to residents on the Protea Village Safety Whatsapp group within 6 minutes more that 12 residents one being a teenager from the area came to help to remove as much valuables and furniture to dry ground.
They came with extention leads to get power from neighbors next door, camping floodlights as we had no electricity on site, brooms , mops, towels and so much more.
Carla immediately arranged alternative accommodation with Johanita Basson and
she made space for them at her guesthouse in Helling street @starkids.
Even admin staff from CMAX jumped in their vehicles to come and give a hand.
All this was arranged within 20 minutes.
At 22:27pm what could be saved was.

- Johanita for the accommodation in Helling street #starkids - All the residents from Protea Village brackenfell that assisted #proteavillage - CMAX admin staff that goes over and beyond for people in need.
- And huge shout out to the teenage boy that came to do some heavy lifting and helping us out of his own.
What a amazing feeling this was to see everyone coming together in someone else's time of need no questions ask except for "what do you need me to do".
