GLEN MARAIS - Taxi and car collide, leaving six injured....
Last night, six people were injured when a taxi and a light motor vehicle collided on Pretoria Road in Gen Marais. ER24 and the Fire Services arrived at 18h27 to find the two vehicles in the middle of the road.
Several patients were seated next to the two cars. Medics assessed
the patients and found that five had sustained minor to moderate injuries while one patient had sustained serious injuries. The patients were treated, and the seriously injured was provided with pain-relief medication before they were transported to a nearby hospital for further care. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
