DUNOON - Pedestrian killed in a collision....
This afternoon, a man believed to be in his 30s was killed when he was struck by a light motor vehicle on Malibongwe Road in Dunoon, Western Cape. ER24 and the Milnerton Fire Services arrived at 15h37 to find the man lying in the middle of the road.
The car that
struck the man was parked a few metres away. The man was assessed by medics and found in a critical condition, having sustained numerous injuries. The man was treated and provided with advanced life support before being transported to Groote Schuur Hospital for urgent care. Unfortunately, after some time in hospital, the man succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
