SUSPECT NABBED BY HAWKS FOR ROMANCE SCAM EXCEEDING R3 MILLION: Well done to the Hawks.
Media release below via South African Police Service - Pius Emokpe (48) appeared before Kimberley Magistrates' Court on Friday for fraud.
The complainant was allegedly scammed a total amount of R3, 4 million after meeting him on
an online dating site, where he claimed to be an Italian national.
