House break-in suspect caught Today early afternoon, whilst doing a routine patrol, information was received on the NHW group regarding an unknown male that was spotted leaving a residential premises with multiple suspected stolen items.
A detailed description was obtained from the vigilant neighbour and shared with the rest of our
Armed Response vehicles.
After a short search of the area, the suspect matching the description was spotted on the corners of York and Livingston street.
The suspect was confronted regarding the items in his possession.
He was unable to provide satisfactory evidence and was detained.
SAPS was contacted and took custody of the suspect.
Titanium Securitas along with SAPS returned to the address in Victoria street where the suspect was spotted leaving with the items.
After a quick investigation, it was determined that the suspect broke open the garage door to gain access where he stole multiple items.
The suspect was taken to Kraaifontein SAPS for further processing.
