A new international film, with a star-studded South African cast, REDEEMING LOVE, opens on local shores this weekend.
The movie, directed by DJ Caruso, is based on Francine Rivers' best-selling 1991 novel.
It was filmed in Cape Town and boasts well-known local stars such as Tanya van Graan, Clyde Berning, Stephen Jennings,
Brandon Auret and Daniah de Villiers.
The lead roles in "Redeeming Love" are played by Abigail Cowen and Tom Lewis.
Set against the California gold rush in 1850, it tells the story of the unlikely relationship between Michael and Sarah, who discovers that there's no brokenness that love can't heal.
