Three areas in Cape Town will be without electricity for periods of time this week as the city continues maintenance work on electrical infrastructure.
The areas include Somerset West on Tuesday, Bishop's Court on Wednesday and Claremont on Sunday.The power cuts will be between 6AM and 6PM.
The city has urged residents
to plan ahead for these outages by making sure battery operated appliances are charged and safety measures are in place.
The city says the maintenance work should not take longer than the days outlined.
