Mopping up operations have begun in the Overberg following extensive flooding last week.
At least four people were killed by floods in Bonnievale and Riviersondereind.
The floods also damaged roads and infrastructure in various places.
The community of Malgas, which was cut off, is now accessible again.

" The storm that made landfall in the Southern Cape on Tuesday evening has subsided and rainfall has stopped across the Overberg.
The priority for disaster management at the moment is humanitarian relief, with a focus on the Overberg region.
