The Chairperson of the Cape Amalgamated Taxi Association, Victor Wiwi, has been shot in Nyanga.

Western Cape Transport Minister, Bonginkosi Madikizela, confirmed that Wiwi later died in hospital.

More than 100 people have died in taxi related killings on the Cape Flats since last year.
