06/02/2021 Shooting Incident Brackenfell.

At approximately 18:35pm our Control Centre received multiple calls regarding a shooting incident on Old Paarl Road close to Ferndale.

Our Medical and Armed Response Teams were dispatched to scene .

On arrival they found 2 x patients with multiple gunshot wounds.

Unfortunately one patient

was declared deceased on scene that sustained fatal injuries.

The other patient was stabilized and transported to a nearby Hospital for urgent medical care.

All Emergency Services on scene.
