Grateful client surprises Wolmaransstad Base with a delicious cake!
On May 10, 2018, the TAC-Pulse ERS, 24hr Dispatch Centre received a call from a distressed Wolmaransstad resident, saying that her husband was finding it very difficult to breathe. TAC-Pulse ERS immediately
dispatched an Advanced Life Support Crew and Mobile ICU Ambulance to their home, with paramedics Xolani Mpanza, Mduduzi Nhlanhla, Henry Thato, and Johannes Thobedi responding. When they arrived at the patient's home, they found the patient, Mr. Smith, in a serious condition suffering from Congestive Cardiac Failure and Hypertension. They calmed and comforted Mr. Smith, and then treated him for cardiac failure. Once they had stabilised him sufficiently, they transported Mr. Smith to a private hospital in Klerksdorp.
Manager, Bella Coetzee was pleasantly surprised when Mr. Smith's wife arrived at the base bearing a delicious home-baked cake. She wanted to personally thank and show her gratitude to the paramedics who had helped her husband with such professionalism and compassion.
Our Relationships Manager called Mr. Smith a short while ago to check on his progress. He said he had now been discharged and was resting and recovering at home. He also had nothing praise and gratitude for the paramedics who helped him and treated him with such care and dignity.
Well done Xolani, Mduduzi, Henry and Johannes, the entire Tac-Pulse ERS team is proud of you!
