Western Cape Police have arrested a 17 year old for illegal drug possession at a house at Bonteheuwel.
Police Spokesperson Captain Frederick Van Wyk says they responded to a tip-off and found 41 sachets filled with methamphetamine, 31 mandrax tablets and 14 dagga packets in his possession.
The accused is allegedly
a member of a local gang.
Van Wyk says the suspect tried to flee the scene but was apprehended.
In a separate incident a 47 year old man was arrested in Bishop Lavis after police responded to a tip-off earlier this week.
